Through Title V maternal and Child Health Block grant, the Maine CDC supports work in numerous program areas including Children & Youth with Special Health Care Needs, Partners in Care Coordination, Newborn bloodspot screening, birth defects programming,  Genetics programming, Maternal, Fetal & Infant Mortality review and Perinatal Health.  One of the campaigns we promote is Safe Sleep for babies.
