The Children’s Behavioral Health Services (CBHS) Youth Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Specialists focus on the adolescent SUD continuum of care in Maine; including identifying gaps and expanding treatment and recovery services for adolescents with substance use disorders.

• Youth SUD Specialists are available to connect current and prospective providers with available no-cost, in-person, and online learning opportunities.
• CBHS occasionally offers no-cost training, certification, and support in adolescent SUD-related evidence-based practices to providers.
• CBHS facilitates quarterly adolescent substance use meetings open to providers and community members working in the field.
