Invisible: Older Adults and SUD Geriatric Teams

Although substance use disorders are frequently associated with young to mid-adulthood, they are prevalent and becoming more prevalent in the older adult population. Yet, this vulnerable population is under-identified and not treated. Through a case presentation, this panel will explore the challenges and opportunities of addressing SUD to build a comprehensive care system across the healthcare system.
