The Maine Organizational Management module allows chief medical officers, medical directors, and other medical supervisors in a hospital, FQHC or private practice to view and monitor their current practicing prescribers’ prescribing history within the Maine PMP AWARxE platform.
The Maine Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) utilizes specialty-specific clinical thresholds as a component of the process to identify prescribers who may be considered at higher risk of having negative outcomes associated with controlled substance prescribing (e.g. addiction, overdose) among their patients.
