Maine Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) Resources

The Maine PMP was established with the purpose of serving as a means to promote the public health and welfare and to detect and prevent substance use disorder.

The Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) is a secure database available to prescribers (and their staff) and pharmacists (and their staff). It provides valuable information regarding the usage of controlled substances before or as they are prescribed or dispensed. This program plays a pivotal role in multiple areas of the State of Maine’s Opioid Response Strategy.

Recording or live stream transmissions of these webinars without the express written consent of the ME SUD Learning Community is prohibited.

Join the ME SUD Learning Community for the June 25, 2024 PMP Series presentation “The 2022 CDC Clinical Practice Guidelines for Prescribing Opioids for Pain: Context, Overview, Application, and Policy Implications” presented by Dr. Andrew Suchocki, MD, MPH and Nedejda Razi Robertson, PhD, LCSW.
